فارسی: کُر نام رودی است که از شرق ترکیه سرچشمه می‌گیرد و از کشورهای گرجستان و جمهوری آذربایجان از میان رشته کوه‌های قفقاز عبور کرده و پس از آنکه رود ارس به آن می‌پیوندد، سرانجام در منطقه تالش گشتاسبی به دریای خزر می‌ریزد.
